What are the wedding aisle runners made of?

Wedding aisle runners are an important part of your wedding decor. It provides a wonderful opportunity for your wedding photographer to capture that magical moment of you in all your splendor. We have two kinds of aisle runners – cotton canvas and vinyl canvas. It is 1,3m (54″) wide and is custom-made to any length you require.

Why cotton canvas and vinyl canvas?

Unlike other materials used, like super-thin flag material or loose-weave hessian, our aisle runners are specially woven for strength and safety, especially when you are wearing stiletto high heels.  It also has a better aesthetic appearance.  No crimping and creasing.

Do you print on hessian, also known as Burlap?

No, we don’t do hessian.  Hessian is a loosely woven material and not suited for high-heels on a soft surface.  The last thing you want is getting your heels stuck in the hessian while walking down the aisle.

What do I do with the aisle runner after the wedding?

There are various possibilities. You could cut out the monogram and have it framed or stretch-wrapped and hang it on your wall. You could use a portion of it for guests to sign and offer congratulatory messages. One client cut the edge border into smaller pieces, wrote a personalised thank you note on each of one and sent it off to guest who attended the wedding. The possibilities is only limited to your imagination.

Can I bling out my aisle runner?

Yes, of course. We are all about YOU!  What you want, you get. So whether its Swarovski crystals, Rhinestones or other bling elements, we’ll make it happen for you.

How do I pay?

When you confirm your order, we’ll issue you with an invoice with together with our banking details. For South African customers, we accept direct cash deposits or bank EFT (electronic funds transfer). For international sales, direct EFT or payment through Paypal will do.

Can I pay it off?

In certain circumstances, e.g. if you place your order more that 4 months before the wedding date, we allow a 50% deposit on confirmation of order and the balance BEFORE we go to print.

What is your returns policy?

Regrettably, because your wedding aisle runner is a personalised, one-of-a-kind creation, we cannot refund your purchase. We print only on your final approval of the design.

What about accurate colour?

We do our best to ensure that the colour matches your specification as closely as possible, however, we DO NOT guarantee accurate colour matching. This is simply because the colour that you see on your computer monitor or mobile device may be different to the colour we see on our monitors. Our computers and printers are colour calibrated to print industry standards.

What is your production lead time?

Lead time is 3 to 6 weeks. During peak times it may be up to 8 weeks. We recommend placing your order well in advance. Sometimes the design process can take a while so please allow sufficient time for this.  Sometimes, if we can, we do accommodate last-minute rush orders. A surcharge may apply to rush orders.
